Magnifique !!!

En plus de l'endroit magnifique et des hôtes plus que gentils, accueillants et vraiment aux petits soins pour nous (voire tous les autres commentaire), je voudrais souligner la qualité de l'appartement et de ses fournitures. Même si l'appartement peut accueillir 6 personnes, il n'y a pas 6 assiettes, non, non, il y a en a une bonne vingtaine. Tout est fait pour que ce soit comme votre maison de vacance, comme chez vous. Encore merci Michelle pour avoir pensé à tout ces détails pratiques qui montrent bien votre gentillesse et votre accueil chaleureux.

Wat kan je verwachten van een verblijf in Casa Pieve in Castelvecchio?

• Je verblijft in een Italiaans bergdorpje, in een prachtig gerenoveerd huis dat stamt uit 1514(!) en voorzien is van alle gemakken.
• De grootste troef van het huis is de tuin met een fantastisch uitzicht op twee pittoreske dorpjes.
• Ook in de tuin ontbreekt het aan niets om heerlijk te relaxen; een zwembad, buitendouche, ligstoelen, hangmat, barbecue etc.
• Omdat je midden in het dorpje verblijft krijg je een leuk inkijkje in het authentieke Italiaanse leven.
• En natuurlijk kan je erop uit! Want plaatsen als Lucca, Florence en Pistoia zijn goed aan te rijden.
• Zorg ervoor dat je op de terugweg gelijk even boodschappen doet in Pescia want dat scheelt een keer de berg af en op rijden ????.
• ’s Avonds kan je heerlijk eten in het plaatselijke restaurantje of koken in eigen keuken.

Memmo en Michelle zijn als gastechtpaar onovertroffen, zij zorgen dat het je aan niets ontbreekt en Memmo staat altijd klaar om advies te geven over bekende en minder bekende bezienswaardigheden in de streek. Kortom, wij hebben genoten van ‘la dolce vita’ in Castelvecchio!

Encore merci à Michelle et Memmo, une maison pleine de charme dans un magnifique village fortifié accroché à flanc de montagne. L’endroit est à la fois reposant et rempli de surprises. Un magnifique séjour et un accueil formidable. Ils s’occupent de tout, nous ont conseillés sur les promenades, les petits coins à voir, les bons plats à déguster dans un des restaurants du village. Nous étions très en retard lors de notre arrivée et ils nous attendaient ! Vraiment un très beau souvenir non seulement de l’endroit mais de Michelle et Memmo et des habitants du village , une communauté qui aime partager ! Merci

“Michelle’s place is fantastic- superb location with amazing views over the valley, plus the added bonus of abundant delicious tomatoes, figs, basil etc in the garden! Accommodating and knowledgeable hosts - When they knew we would arrive quite late they arranged a supermarket stop for essentials and also booked the local restaurant. We had a hire car that carried only 5 people and we were 6- so Memmo kindly offered to drive to help out. He also had lots of local tips and was always available to answer any questions. The accommodation itself is spacious and clean and is very well equipped. The pool is great, and we loved dining out on the terrace looking out over the pool and the hillside and olive groves in the distance. It was a very welcome break and we all loved it. Thanks Michelle and Memmo!”

We rented the lower appartment. It was very well equiped and enough place for 6 to 7 people. The garden is big and including a very nice swimming pool. The hospitality of Michelle and Memmo is very good. They are always there to help and serve you with your needs. We had a very nice holiday. Wir hatten die untere Wohnung mit direktem Zugang zum herrlichen Garten und zum tollen Pool. Die Wohnung war sehr schön eingerichtet, es hat nichts fehlt. Die Küche war mit Backofen, Kühl- und Gefrierschrank, Gas-Kochfeld super ausgestattet. 3 Schlafzimmer mit ausreichend Schränken, und 2 sehr moderne schöne Bäder. Alles in allem eine tolle Wohnung! Wir kommen gerne wieder :) Vielen Dank an Michelle und Memmo

Wonderful stay in heart of Tuscany

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment. It lies in a calm and beautiful village surrounded by a stunning natural scenery. Apart from its location the house is very well designed, has beautiful bedrooms and a super nice pool side. You find everything you need. We got nice a very warm welcome, many good recommendations from our owners who helped us with everything. We would like to come again soon. Charlotte

“We had seven absolutely wonderful relaxing days in the ground floor apartment of Michelle's house. Michelle and her husband Memmo are not only wonderfully pleasant, always helpful, unobtrusive, funny, interesting and open hosts, but simply extremely kind people. The apartment – recently renovated – is very clean, modern and very tastefully furnished. The beds were very comfortable and we can't think of anything we would have missed. The view in the garden of two typical Tuscan mountain villages on the opposite slopes of the small valley was breathtakingly beautiful. The view in front of the house is in no way inferior. The pool is fantastic and the hammock at the foot of the big garden invites to read in front of the incredible view in the silence of the small mountain village. The location of the house in the valley leads to a pleasantly light stream of air, so that even at high temperatures it is still very comfortable in and around the house. Also the parking is no problem, as there was always a place at a maximum distance of 100 metres to the house. The small street in front of the house is basically never used, so it is always quiet. As we spent our holidays there with four adults and two small children, we enjoyed the peace and quiet and the very nice neighbours as well as the excellent and very affordable Ristorante La Pieve that is within 3 minutes walking distance. Memmos excellent tips regarding all possible excursions in the nearer and further surroundings were super helpful, and both, Michelle & Memmo, always had an open ear for us. It was a real pleasure to meet them! If our jobs hadn't been waiting for us, we just would have stayed forever. We will definitely come back!”

Perfect in every way! The apartment is located in the pre- Renaissance town of Castelvecchio. Everything about the area is historical and beautiful to look at. With an excellent and truly inexpensive restaurant within a few minutes walk, and another two tavernas a five minute drive away you get to enjoy the Tuscan kitchen. It’s just over a hour drive to the centre of Florence, the centre of Pisa and the famous beaches of Forte de Marme, with the medieval city of Lucca even closer, basically you are perfectly situated irrespective of which area of Tuscany you want to visit. We even visited some great vineyards nearby. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and newly renovated, with a wonderful pool, in a tranquil garden. We spent one week there on a family vacation. It was amazing. Memmo the host took us on a tour of Castelvecchio, and even one afternoon guided us through the historical sites of Lucca. Highly recommend!

A very good apartment, with a wonderful view over the mountains. The apartment is new with new light furnitures, everything works and you will not miss anything. Great hospitality and lots of good advice about trips and thing to do. Memmo and Michelle are very good hosts. The swimmingpool is nice and clean. Great place.

Fui muy afortunado en encontrar este rIncón de tranquilidad y belleza natural en las alturas del Apenino Toscano fuera del mundanal ruido y sin embargo, muy cerca de las ciudades y pueblos más famosos, patrimonio de la humanidad, Florencia, Pisa, San Gimignano, Siena.
La Casa Vacanza Toscana de Michelle, lo que he considerado ser un paraíso para el descanso, es una casa del siglo XVIII, que fue remodelada en el 2018 y dispone de dos apartamentos muy amplios con tres dormitorios cada uno, dos baños muy amplios y modernos, uno con bañera y el otro con ducha, cada apartamento tiene su sala-comedor y cocina con todos los electrodomésticos modernos: nevera, congelador, estufa, horno y lavaplatos.
El jardín tiene su piscina con con agua cuya temperatura se mantiene agradable mediante calentadores solares. La vista de los alrededores es preciosa ya que su posición, en las alturas de los Apeninos, en el pueblo de Castelvecchio, provincia de Pescia, es ideal para relajarse y descansar después de un día de turismo visitando museos y otras maravillas que ofrece Toscana.
Los dueños, Memo y Michelle, fueron de increíble simpatía, ayuda y siempre dispuestos a hacernos sentir a casa lejos de casa. Memo nos dio las más amplias indicaciones de los sitios más importantes para visitar, lo mejor para ver en cada lugar y como llegar hasta ellos en auto. 
La Casa Toscana es el lugar que, sin duda alguna, puedo recomendar a quien desea pasar una o mas semanas para visitar con tranquilidad lo mejor de Toscana.

We just had a wonderful vacation at the house of Memo & Michelle in the cute village of Castelvecchio in the province of Pescia, Tuscany. It is a three bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment, with a heated swimming pool. 
The two storey house has a lovely view over the countryside with a nice restaurant and bar in the village. It is close enough for day trips to the major places of interest in Tuscany. We visited Siena, San Gimigniano, Pistoia, Florence and Lucca during our weeks stay.
Finally, Memo and Michelle are excellent hosts, always ready to provide assistance where needed. Memo's knowledge and insight of Tuscany is specially appreciated. We found his briefings and directions to places of interest very helpful. 
Thank you, Memo & Michelle, for our unforgettable stay. We look forward to visit again.

My family and I had a very good time at Memmo's place. We loved: the swimming pool, the view from the garden, the equipment of the apartment and the hospitality. Indeed, Memmo was always around on the property to give advice and offer free tours of the surroundings. We did not like: the narrow road to drive up to the villa and the fact that you have to share the garden and the swimming pool. But the Loves outweigh the Dislikes. This was a nice place to be in Tuscany.
